Aria’s Introduces Queensland’s First Residential Tesla Car Share Scheme
As part of Aria Property Group’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and innovation, The Standard by Aria in South Brisbane has introduced Queensland’s first car share scheme in a residential building featuring three Tesla electric vehicles (EVs).
This initiative, delivered in partnership with Ohmie Go, is helping to reduce vehicle movements, lower residents’ reliance on personal car ownership, and cut transport-related costs, all while supporting Aria’s long-term sustainability goals.
Charged via solar panels on the rooftop of The Standard, the vehicles are then hired by residents through a simple to use phone App.
High Demand Driven by Flexibility and Cost Savings
Since launching, the Tesla EV car share program has recorded 102 bookings and 786 hours of usage. Residents credit its popularity to ease of access, flexible booking options, low hire costs, and excellent customer service. This uptake reflects the growing demand for eco-friendly, community-based transport solutions in urban living environments.
