Aria and The Smith Family: a Learning for Life partnership
Since 2009, Aria and The Smith Family have been partners in education, standing with young Australians in Brisbane and across South East Queensland through Learning for Life.
The Aria Foundation was established to support and give back to our local communities, not only to create a sustainable future but to be part of it. This partnership is one we hold close. It is a long friendship, renewed each year.
Learning for Life
Learning for Life is how The Smith Family stays beside a student through school. It is financial help for the essentials of study, a person to walk with the family, and practical programs that keep a young person engaged. We are proud to be part of that support.
Over the life of the partnership Aria has donated $744,479. That support has reached 440 lives directly, including 192 Learning for Life students across South East Queensland and the Sunshine Coast. Fifty-six of those students have completed their studies with us beside them. Today we sponsor 27 Learning for Life students.
In 2025, two of those students finished Year 12. We had sponsored them since Year 4. That is the story that stays with the Aria family. Students met in primary school, walked through high school, and seen through to the end.
Work Inspiration with The Smith Family
Education is also the people in the room. Since 2014 we have hosted 248 students across 11 Work Inspiration programs, opening our doors so they can see a working day in property and construction. More than fifty of our staff have taken part, through the Toy & Book Appeal, iTrack Mentoring, Work Inspiration, and writing cards. Together we have written 232 messages to students, and raised $44,689 through Aria Christmas fundraising.
We feel honoured to play our part with The Smith Family.
