Solar energy powers Aria’s commitment to sustainability
Solar panels have been a cornerstone of Aria’s sustainability commitment since 2015, having been installed on every development since then. With the goal of growing developments that contribute to greener urban living, future projects by Aria continue to incorporate larger and more efficient solar power systems and batteries.
Botanica Residences was the first of Aria’s multi-residential buildings to incorporate solar panels. With 96 solar panels spanning across its northern and western facades, this has become the standard on all subsequent Aria projects, demonstrating an ongoing dedication to innovation and sustainability.
As a key piece of infrastructure in Aria projects, solar panels connect to the common area of each building to reduce the energy consumption of its lifts and lighting. This improvement in energy efficiency has helped to offset electricity costs, generating money-saving benefits for residents.
Further energy and cost savings for residents will be achieved through upcoming projects such as Riviere which is planned to have over a hundred solar panels and nine Tesla power wall batteries installed.
With 750 panels already connected across its projects, Aria is working towards a 2030 commitment of self-generating one megawatt (1,000kw) of renewable energy through solar panels.
By reducing the energy consumption and costs of its buildings through solar power systems, Aria is growing the conscious urban developments of tomorrow, today – and with everyone in mind.
