Set amongst the beautiful gardens of Fish Lane Town Square is Fish Lane’s latest dining venue South Side.
Southside offers two menu options: a la carte-style, or a Feed me banquet. Both menus are heavy on bold Chinese-centric flavours, with the likes of drunken scallop with Chinese pear and ginger, chicken wonton, black vinegar and chilli oil, and hiramasa kingfish with charred onion.
The creative menu moves on to more significant share plates, like Goolwa pippies with XO sauce and seaweed, and dan dan noodles with Wagyu beef and ‘strange flavour’ sauce.
Patrons are able to dine within the park space on the ground floor or on level two overlooking the railway. For intimate groups, the private dining room on level three serves as the perfect space for a private event or celebration.
