FISH LANE WINS STATE AWARD FOR URBAN DESIGN

Aria is proud to announce that Fish Lane has won the Minister’s Award for Urban Design in Queensland.

The 2018 Minister’s Award for Urban Design recognises contemporary Queensland urban design projects of the highest quality and encourages cities, towns and communities across Queensland to strive for best practice in all projects. The awards are conducted in partnership with the Australian Urban Design Awards.

Fish Lane by Aria Property Group and Brisbane City Council were awarded, with the jury noting that the laneway project was “a demonstration of what is possible when once-forgotten city spaces are loved and valued”.

Located in South Brisbane, Fish Lane was once a dark, derelict back-street which Aria transformed into an iconic destination for dining, arts and culture.
