The Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) has announced the winners of the 2018 Queensland Landscape Architecture Awards, with Aria projects picking up multiple awards.
Held annually, the Queensland Landscape Architecture Awards aims to recognise exemplary planning and design of the built and natural environments. The program acknowledges the growing impact of Landscape Architecture on the spaces we inhabit and the projects that stand out for their innovative approaches that push the boundaries of design, or are considered to be of state significance.
Aria’s laneway, Fish Lane took the award for top honours in ‘Urban Design’, while Lexington, Akira, St Julien and Oxley & Stirling were awarded with the ‘Gardens’ category. National winners will be announced in October.
